It is not often that you have perfect projects with perfect clients. I have been very blessed to experience this more than once and this project is one of those times. The architectural style dialogue started with some apprehension that I would understand the level of rustication and, well  “oldness”, that the owners were looking for. After providing some hand sketches in response to preliminary conversations, we were off!

Projects like this are not believable without the master crafting Edwards Smith Construction. There are many details and team coordination efforts that everyone must be willing to be a part of so that the result looks real. The owners have impeccable taste. That fact, added with a committed design and build team, combined with Garrett Oiness of IVY Gift and Home complementing the design and build with furnishings, a fun, relaxing and story book lakeside paradise came to life.
