Job Description:

  • Prepare plans as directed using office standards and procedures and ArchiCAD (3-D drafting software by Graphisoft).
  • Assist in the construction documentation process, permit sets, ASI (Architect’s Supplemental Instructions).
  • Coordinates project information with various team members, clients, engineers, interior designers, contractor, sub-contractors.
  • Organize and present project information according to office standards and procedures.
  • Has construction experience and is comfortable creating necessary sections and details for construction.
  • Attend project meetings and site visits.
  • A high demand for professionalism when working directly with clients.
  • Help with daily office tasks (answering phones, receiving occasional walk-in solicitors, and/or potential clients etc.)

Required Experience:

  • Associate or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
  • Five years min. experience in working in an architectural office / CAD drafting.
  • Five years min. experience in Construction Documentation and Project Management.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management/efficiency, and organizational skills.
  • Self-driven solution finder that can analyze, research and resolve issues that meets office standards.
  • Must know how to search building codes, work with regulatory officials, follow design review guidelines to implement project designs, permitting and construction detailing.
  • Must be professional and have stellar communication skills (both written and oral).
  • A knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Graphisoft’s ArchiCAD is preferred (will train), or Autodesk’s AutoCAD software.
